What we use

FinanceSight uses a small number of **strictly necessary** cookies to keep you signed in and to protect requests. These are essential to the service and cannot be turned off:

We also store small amounts of data in your browser's local storage (e.g. UI preferences and your in-app notification history). This is not shared with us as cookies.

What we do not use

We do **not** use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing cookies. There is **no third-party analytics, error-tracking, or tag manager** on the site.

Our first-party product and diagnostic events (error reports, performance metrics, and key UX events — see the [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy)) are **not** delivered via non-essential cookies and can be turned off in **Settings → Privacy**.

Consent

Because we currently use only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. If non-essential cookies are ever introduced, we will ask for your consent first.
